DAYS IN THE WILD

Join us each week, as we travel about the country hunting just about any legal game we can put a stalk on. One of the most important aspects of our show is that it delves into more of the “how to’s” of hunting, more of what everyday hunter needs. We wanted to have a show that helped hunters answer those questions we had when we first started going out in the field. I remember watching hunting shows when I was still green trying to get tips and figure out tactics to better myself, but always end up frustrated with some guy who walks three feet into the woods and kills a trophy buck and thanks god, his mom, and mother nature for allowing him to shoot an animal. Most people can t afford to go out with a guide or can’t spend half the year planting food plots or even do a whole lot of scouting. We decided we would like to show the real side of hunting, the misses, the blown opportunities, the work it takes to get there, and most of all share some of our tactics good or bad with our viewers.

OUR HOSTS

John Stallone:
Now 31 yrs old, I first cut my teeth hunting as a really little boy, taking my first whitetail with my father in NY at the age of 8. I had been accompanying my dad in the field since I was 4 years old. Hunting was a great family experience treasured by my family. We went small and big game hunting every chance we got, just as another excuse to spend time together. I remember my dad taking me every morning before school to go shoot my bb gun, some of my most memorable moments in childhood were spent in the filed with my dad. As I grew up those traits and teachings that my dad taught me in the field stuck with me as I developed my hunting skills and as I became a man. I thank My Dad each day for taking me out with him.

As I grew older my taste for hunting changed and I discovered bow hunting.

I took up bow hunting at the age of 15 and I been in love with the sport ever since. I do rifle hunt from time to time, however I would rather fail with my bow then be successful with my rifle. I now run AZ Gamble Quail Hunts and I am the head of in field testing for HUNTECH Inc. I would love to share my experiences and knowledge with you in “Days in the Wild”

Frank LoBue:

Hi Im pro staffer Frank LoBue! Im a 34 year old father of four. Most of my fondest memories of my childhood were spent in the field with my uncle hunting. Like most young boys I got my first BB gun at a young age and set off on safari every chance I got. I started to realize my appreciation for hunting in my teen years I learned that hunting wasn’t only harvesting animals but a vehicle to develop relationships with friends and family. That is what is most important to me, and as my boys get older I am getting anxious to give them the gift my uncle gave me and take them hunting.

Joe Rossiello:

The concept of hunting itself has been instilled in me at a young age with my father and uncles. Hunting to me is a complicated game of chess with a very rewarding outcome win or lose. I started hunting at a young age absorbing techniques and knowledge that has made me the hunter that I am today. With each hunt whether It is guiding or for myself I learn some thing new about the animal and the hunt itself. I am a guide for AZ gamble quail hunts also guide bull elk hunts in Arizona and each time I enter the woods it holds a whole new experience for me.
