Mathews' Days In The Wild
DAYS IN THE WILD--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Join us each week, as we travel about the country hunting just about any legal game we can put a stalk on. One of the most important aspects of our show is that it delves into more of the “how to’s” of hunting, more of what everyday hunter needs. We wanted to have a show that helped hunters answer those questions we had when we first started going out in the field. I remember watching hunting shows when I was still green trying to get tips and figure out tactics to better myself, but always end up frustrated with some guy who walks three feet into the woods and kills a trophy buck and thanks god, his mom, and mother nature for allowing him to shoot an animal. Most people can t afford to go out with a guide or can’t spend half the year planting food plots or even do a whole lot of scouting. We decided we would like to show the real side of hunting, the misses, the blown opportunities, the work it takes to get there, and most of all share some of our tactics good or bad with our viewershttp://www.johnstallone.com/Type: Channel

The main focus of this show is to bring its fans the best quality footage and top notch information of the outdoors. Not only are we trying to pursue big game with a bow which is a hard enough task in itself, but we are also trying to lay down top quality footage at the same time. We want to bring you a story of the hunt. We want you to feel like you're riding shotgun right here with us on every adventure. Our show and articles are not only for you, but for us as well. So we can both learn, but hopefully also be entertained at the same time. It's never been about being some big name in hunting. We do it because it's what we love to do. It's our passion. We love to relive that adrenaline rush we get from bowhunting, and then share that feeling with others. Filming and writing gives us that opportunity. Any way we can help our fellow hunters we are going to try and incorporate that into our show. So we hope y'all enjoy!Type: Channel

Looking Back on Outdoor Magazine TV
This is a very special edition of the Outdoor Magazine Television show. After more than twenty five years in outdoor television, host Mike Avery is changing direction to concentrate on his syndicated Outdoor Magazine radio show. As a result, this is the last Outdoor Magazine TV show to be produced. In this show Avery takes a look back at a quarter century of outdoor television including some of the people, places and things covered on the show over the years. You'll see archival video of famous bowhunter Fred Bear and an interview with rock star Ted Nugent on why he wrote a tribute song to Fred. Infamous Michigan bowhunter Mitch Rompola is also featured. Mike interviewed him a few years before Rompola killed a potential world record buck. There's also video from Michigan's "Mr. Outdoors", Mort Neff. Neff was an early supporter of Avery's outdoor video work.Mike also pays tribute to two people he says are largely responsible for his success in outdoor television over the years.Rare video of a rut crazed buck attacking a man is also seen on this show as well as highlights from Avery's hunting and fishing adventures in North America and beyond. The veteran outdoor broadcaster says it was impossible to include all the video highlights from a quarter century of the Outdoor Magazine show, but this last episode was a good representation of the show, it's evolution and the topics covered along the wayType: Channel TV Show
