Foxy is a southern outdoorsman, cowboy, and horse trainer. In fact, Foxy is the self-professed "original Florida cracker cowboy." (A “Florida cracker” refers to original colonial-era English and American pioneer settlers of what is now the U.S. state of Florida, and their descendants). During his western travels in the 1990s, Foxy worked as a hunting guide in Montana, where he met his wife Sherifox. Together they explored her Native American culture, which piqued their interest in the ancient rituals and ceremonies. Sherifox is of French and Native American descent. In fact, she is a direct descendant of Chief Joseph of the Nez Pearce tribe. Foxy first opened his shop in 1977. Most of what goes into his animal mountings, Foxy makes by hand. While deer heads and large-mouth bass are taxidermy staples, every few years something unique comes along. Once Foxy was hired to mount several tropical fish in a replica aquarium that was housed in a van. He has stuffed a giraffe and a 17-foot-long python. He also has worked for museums in half a dozen states stuffing animals. Member of: Life Member of N.R.A.
