Scout scopes on your lever action rifles
Col Jeff Cooper developed the idea of a scout rifle. His idea was a low magnification mounted forward of the receiver on a fast handling lever action hunting gun. The scout mounted scope would be a fast handling hunting tool that allows you to shoot with both eyes open and be able to see the target as well as having a scope to assist the hunter in making accurate hits.
